QuoteIQ Scheduling and Dispatch: What Each Plan Gets
QuoteIQ's scheduling calendar is on every plan, from a one-person Essentials account up. What changes as you climb the tiers is dispatch: assigning work to team members, sending on-the-way texts, optimizing routes and letting customers book themselves. This page sorts out which is which.

Good calendar for solo and small shops; team dispatch costs more. Day, week and month views, recurring visits and drag-to-reschedule come with every plan. Assigning team members and on-the-way texts start on Pro ($199.99), and routing and customer self-booking on Elite ($299.99). Large dispatch operations with 20+ techs aren't QuoteIQ's target.

What the calendar does on every plan
- Day, Week and Month views, plus a day-as-a-list view and a job map.
- Recurring visits, with the option to edit a single occurrence without breaking the series.
- Drag to schedule and reschedule on desktop, "with a five-second undo".
- Conflict and double-booking warnings.
- Schedule Later for accepted work without a date yet, and mass reschedule for moving a block of jobs.
- Weather forecasts on the calendar, useful for outdoor trades.
- PDF export for a printed schedule.

What each plan adds
| Plan | Monthly | Scheduling and dispatch additions |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $29.99 (1 user) | Calendar, recurring visits, conflict warnings, weather |
| Beginner | $99.99 (2 users) | Two-way Google Calendar sync |
| Pro | $199.99 (4 users) | Assign team members, On The Way texts via ClientHub, client portal |
| Elite | $299.99 (10 users) | Route optimization, route density zones, InstaSchedule self-booking, EmployeeHub and GPS |
| Max | $699.99 (20 users) | Crews (also on Elite plans bought before April 2, 2026) |
Extra users are $25/user/mo on every plan. One detail to watch: Beginner includes two users, but assigning individual team members to jobs is listed from Pro. Confirm in the trial how a second Beginner user sees and works the schedule before you rely on it.
Credit costs
The calendar itself doesn't use IQ Credits. Two connected features do, according to QuoteIQ's help-center plan matrix: Google Calendar sync charges credits per event added to Google, and in-calendar route optimization charges per leg. On-the-way texts run through ClientHub, whose page says "No per-minute charges. No extra messaging fees."
How a contractor uses it day to day
For a solo operator the calendar is the hub: accepted estimates go onto a date or into Schedule Later, recurring customers sit on a repeating series, and the weather view tells you which days to shuffle. When rain moves a day, mass reschedule shifts the block and the undo protects against a mis-drag. If you also live in Google Calendar, Beginner's two-way sync keeps personal and work events in one place.
Once there's a crew, Pro is where the calendar becomes a dispatch tool: you assign jobs to people and the customer gets a text when the tech is on the way. On Elite, route optimization reorders each person's stops, and InstaSchedule lets customers book open slots themselves. See route optimization for that tier in detail.
Limits and gotchas
- Full calendar with recurring visits on every plan
- Undo on drag-and-drop moves
- Weather forecasts on the schedule
- PDF export for printed schedules
- Team assignment and on-the-way texts need Pro
- Customer self-booking needs Elite
- Google Calendar sync uses credits per event
- No large-team dispatch board for 20+ techs
QuoteIQ's own ServiceTitan comparison concedes it lacks a large-team dispatch board for 20+ technicians. GPS tracking is phone-based only, with no vehicle hardware; QuoteIQ says plainly, "If you need to see the truck rather than the phone, we cannot help you."
How it compares with Jobber and Housecall Pro
Jobber's pricing page lists booking and scheduling on Core ($49/mo, one user). Housecall Pro's lists online booking and scheduling/dispatch on Basic ($79/mo monthly, $59 annual). The sharpest difference is customer self-booking: QuoteIQ needs Elite, and QuoteIQ's own Housecall Pro page calls that HCP's "single strongest structural advantage". For each competitor's dispatch and assignment details, check Jobber's pricing page and Housecall Pro's pricing page.

Scheduling questions
Is scheduling included on QuoteIQ's cheapest plan?
Yes. Internal scheduling and the calendar are on every plan, including Essentials at $29.99/mo. That covers day, week and month views, recurring visits, conflict warnings, drag-to-reschedule with undo, weather forecasts and PDF export. Dispatch features such as team assignment and on-the-way texts start on higher plans.
Which plan lets me assign jobs to employees?
Assigning team members starts on Pro at $199.99/mo for four users, along with On The Way texts through ClientHub. Crew assignment is on Max, or on Elite plans bought before April 2, 2026. Extra users cost $25/user/mo on every plan, so check total seat cost for your crew size.
Does QuoteIQ sync with Google Calendar?
Yes, from the Beginner plan up. QuoteIQ rebuilt its two-way Google Calendar sync in September 2026. Its help-center plan matrix says the sync uses IQ Credits per event added to Google, so a very busy calendar will draw on your monthly allowance.
Can customers book their own appointments?
Yes, through InstaSchedule, but only on Elite at $299.99/mo and Max. QuoteIQ's own Housecall Pro comparison admits this is HCP's strongest structural advantage, since Housecall Pro lists online booking on its Basic plan. If self-booking is essential and your budget is tight, weigh that carefully.
Can I track where my techs are?
On Elite and up, EmployeeHub includes live GPS location tracking while employees are clocked in. It uses the phone's location and needs a data connection; QuoteIQ has no vehicle hardware tracking. If you need to see the truck rather than the phone, you'd need a separate fleet tracker.
