Where we land

For a small, quote-heavy shop, QuoteIQ is still our default pick: flat plans from $29.99, AI estimating on every tier, satellite measuring from $99.99 and an AI receptionist on every plan. Look elsewhere if you need a no-card trial, cheap online booking, payroll, enterprise depth or unlimited users. Each of those has a better home below.

Why people look for a QuoteIQ alternative

We've used QuoteIQ and we like it, but the reasons people shop around are real. A card is required for the trial. Online booking, route optimization, inventory and automated review requests need Elite at $299.99. QuickBooks Online, job costing and in-app calling need Pro, and QuickBooks Desktop isn't supported. AI, calls and texts run on IQ Credits; the AI receptionist alone uses 125 credits a minute. There's no payroll. QuoteIQ's own pricing page shows exactly where each feature unlocks. And independent reviews are thin: Capterra shows 5.0 from just six reviews, against 4.7 from 3.4K ratings on the App Store and 4.4 from 1.21K on Google Play (all checked Oct 2026). See our QuoteIQ pros and cons for the full list.

The alternatives, one by one

Jobber

The best-known all-rounder. Per-seat plans from $49, a website on every plan and 100+ marketplace apps. Its trial needs no card. QuoteIQ beats it on AI estimating, built-in measuring and users per dollar.

Housecall Pro

Strong for booking-driven shops: online booking and job costing on the Basic plan, payroll, and a Spanish crew app. Five users on Essentials is a sweet spot QuoteIQ can't match.

ServiceTitan

Enterprise software for big trade companies, with memberships, deep reporting and large dispatch boards. Pricing is by quote only. Overkill for most shops under ten people.

Workiz

A capable all-rounder whose Standard plan includes QuickBooks and subcontractors. Prices are quote only and the trial is seven days. QuoteIQ concedes it has online booking on every plan.

GorillaDesk

Made for pest control and routes: routing on the $49 plan and free office users, priced per route. Weak fit for measure-and-quote work.

Markate

A lean base plan with job costing and pipelines, $5 team seats and $10 add-ons for booking, portal, phone and reviews. Good value for basic needs.

ServiceM8

Unlimited users on every plan, priced by job volume, with a free 30-job tier. Great for bigger teams with modest job counts.

Kickserv

Kickserv publishes simple team pricing: Start is $60/mo with five users, Run $119 with ten and Scale $199 with twenty, and annual billing saves 20%. The trial is 30 days. Entry plans include a contact form, automated reminders, 20+ reports, time and expense tracking and QuickBooks Online. QuoteIQ's own Kickserv page concedes the transparent pricing and a long, no-card trial, then points to Kickserv's ownership history, saying it has changed hands four times in about twenty years and now sits in the EverCommerce portfolio. That's QuoteIQ's argument, not ours. For a five-person team that wants QuickBooks on the cheapest plan, Kickserv is worth a look. See Kickserv's pricing.

FieldPulse

FieldPulse is quote only and seat-based, and its pricing page publishes no plan details. Its FAQ mentions a trial without giving a length. QuoteIQ's view is that the fair way to compare is to get FieldPulse's terms in writing and set them beside QuoteIQ's public prices. We agree, and would add that QuoteIQ's FieldPulse page itself still lists old QuoteIQ prices. Check FieldPulse's pricing page and ask for a written quote.

QuoteIQ alternatives: FAQ

What is the best QuoteIQ alternative?

It depends on why you're looking. Jobber is the closest all-round alternative with a no-card trial. Housecall Pro suits shops that want cheap online booking and payroll. ServiceTitan is for large companies. ServiceM8 suits bigger teams with modest job counts. For small, quote-heavy shops, we still think QuoteIQ is the best default.

Which QuoteIQ competitors have a free trial with no card?

Jobber (14 days), Housecall Pro (14 days) and Workiz (7 days) all say no card is needed. QuoteIQ's own Kickserv page says Kickserv's long trial needs no card; Kickserv's page shows 30 days. QuoteIQ is the only tool in this group that states a card is required for its 14-day trial.

Is there a cheaper alternative to QuoteIQ?

For a single user, few are cheaper than QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99. ServiceM8 has a free plan for 30 jobs a month and a $29 Starter plan, and Jobber's annual offer is $21/mo for the first year. For teams, ServiceM8's unlimited users and Kickserv's five users for $60 can undercut QuoteIQ.

Which alternative is best for pest control?

GorillaDesk. It's built around recurring routes, includes basic routing on its $49 Basic plan and has pest-specific compliance features. QuoteIQ's own GorillaDesk comparison concedes those points. QuoteIQ is a better fit for trades that quote each job fresh, such as pressure washing, roofing and handyman work.

Why would someone switch away from QuoteIQ?

The common reasons are tier gating, usage costs and team size. Online booking, routing and inventory need Elite at $299.99, QuickBooks and job costing need Pro, AI and calls draw on IQ Credits, and there's no payroll or QuickBooks Desktop support. Third-party reviews are also thin, with six on Capterra.
