QuoteIQ for House Cleaning: Fit, Features and Pricing
Cleaning businesses run on repeat visits: the same homes every week or two, the same offices every night. That makes recurring scheduling and automatic billing the features to judge first, ahead of any AI quoting.

A fair option for small residential cleaning teams that want recurring visits and card-on-file billing at a low price. Teams that send several cleaners out separately will hit QuoteIQ's tier gates quickly, because staff GPS, time tracking and online booking all sit on Elite.

What QuoteIQ says for house cleaning
QuoteIQ's house cleaning page is one of its older templates. It is headlined “#1 Rated House Cleaning Software” and the copy is mostly generic. The newer commercial cleaning page is more useful; it promises to manage every crew, retain every client and grow every account.
Across its cleaning pages, QuoteIQ's trade-specific themes are recurring scheduling, GPS staff tracking and annual reminder automation. We found no cleaning checklist templates or per-room pricing tools described, so you would build those yourself with saved services and inspection forms.
Features that matter most for cleaners
Recurring visits that are easy to change
The scheduling calendar handles one-off and recurring visits, lets you edit a single occurrence without breaking the series, warns about double-booking and supports drag-to-reschedule with undo. Mass reschedule helps when a cleaner calls in sick.
Billing that runs itself
Invoice subscriptions charge a saved card on a schedule, on every plan. Tips are supported, which matters in residential cleaning. Mass invoicing arrives on Beginner. See invoicing and payments.
Keeping track of staff
For teams sent out separately, EmployeeHub, GPS location tracking while clocked in and Time Tracker Pro are Elite and up. Read job costing and timesheets for what the timesheet export includes.
Which plan to pick by team size
| Team | Plan | Cleaning fit |
|---|---|---|
| Solo cleaner | Essentials, $29.99 | Recurring visits, subscription billing, tips, payments |
| Owner + 1 cleaner | Beginner, $99.99 | Mass invoicing, inspection forms via QuoteIQ Cam, Google Calendar sync |
| Up to 4 cleaners | Pro, $199.99 | Client portal with saved cards, automated reminder texts, business phone |
| 5–10 cleaners | Elite, $299.99 | GPS time tracking, online booking, routing, roles & permissions |
Extra users are $25/user/mo on any plan. Commercial cleaners with night crews often need Elite for timesheets. Full figures on the pricing page.
Honest gaps for cleaning businesses
- Recurring billing on every plan, including the $29.99 tier
- Edit one visit without breaking the series
- Tips at checkout
- Published pricing with no long contract
- House cleaning page is a generic template
- Staff GPS and timesheets only from Elite
- Online booking only from Elite
- No payroll, which cleaning teams often want
- Satellite measuring adds little for interior cleaning
The AI receptionist is listed on every plan and can take booking requests while you are mid-clean, but it is metered at 125 IQ Credits per minute. Essentials includes 500 credits a month, roughly four minutes of calls, so treat it as an overflow tool rather than a full-time front desk. See our Virtual Call Team review.
A lot of QuoteIQ's marketing budget goes into AI estimating and satellite measuring. For a house cleaner, those are nice extras at best, so don't pay for Beginner just to get MapMeasure.
Alternatives worth a look
ServiceM8 prices by job volume rather than by user, which can suit a small team with few jobs but gets expensive with many weekly visits; see QuoteIQ vs ServiceM8. Housecall Pro includes online booking on its entry plan, compared in QuoteIQ vs Housecall Pro. Jobber is another common pick for residential cleaning, covered in QuoteIQ vs Jobber.
House cleaning: common questions
Is QuoteIQ good for house cleaning businesses?
For a solo cleaner or a small team, it covers the basics well: recurring visits, card-on-file subscription billing and tips, all on the $29.99 Essentials plan. QuoteIQ's house cleaning page itself is generic, though, and staff tracking tools are on Elite. Larger teams should compare cleaning-friendly alternatives first.
Can QuoteIQ bill recurring cleaning clients automatically?
Yes. Invoice subscriptions charge the client's saved card on a set schedule and are included on every plan. You can pair them with weekly or biweekly recurring visits on the calendar. From Pro, the client portal lets customers manage their own saved payment method.
Does QuoteIQ track cleaners' time and location?
Time Tracker Pro, EmployeeHub and GPS location tracking while staff are clocked in are on Elite at $299.99 a month and Max. The tracking uses the cleaner's phone, not a vehicle device. On cheaper plans you can assign work, but you do not get timesheets or live locations.
Can clients book cleanings online with QuoteIQ?
Online self-booking through InstaSchedule is an Elite and Max feature. Lower plans can share a website contact form from Pro, but the customer cannot pick a slot themselves. If online booking on a small budget matters, Housecall Pro's entry plan includes it, which QuoteIQ's own comparison concedes.
Does QuoteIQ work for commercial cleaning?
It can. QuoteIQ has a dedicated commercial cleaning page about managing crews and retaining accounts. Recurring visits, Net 15 to Net 90 invoice terms and payment reminders are on every plan. Night crews needing timesheets and GPS will need Elite, and crew management is on Max.
